The 7th generation (Gen 7) TZ series is designed for small, mid-sized businesses and scattered enterprises with SD-Branch locations, and it combines industry-validated security efficacy with best-in-class economic performance. These next-generation firewalls (NGFWs) address the emerging trends in online encryption, connected devices, and high-speed mobility by providing a solution for automated, real-time intrusion detection and prevention. The Gen 7 TZ series has a high port density of up to 10 ports and is highly expandable. It has built-in and extensible storage of up to 256GB, which provides a variety of services like as logging, reporting, caching, firmware backup, and more. On certain models, an optional second power supply adds redundancy in the event of a breakdown.
TZ NGFWs are built using the SonicOS framework. The feature-rich SonicOS 7.0 operating system with new, contemporary-looking UX/UI, advanced security, networking, and management features powers Gen 7 TZs. A number of strong security features are included in Gen 7 TZ, including integrated SD-WAN, TLS 1.3 compatibility, real-time visualization, high-speed virtual private networking (VPN), and others.
