The Powertec PTL-100 is a CRC9 to SMA Female patch cords used to join a feeder or jumper cable to a user device such a mobile broadband modem. Many 4G modems' external antenna connections are compatible with the CRC9 connector on the cable. The CRC9 connector is used by manufacturers like Huawei and ZTE to enable the addition of bigger 4G antennas. 22 MIMO external antennas are often connected to 4G modems using two CRC9 connections. For the optimum performance with 5G devices, PTL-100 cable provides an expanded frequency range up to 6 GHz.
