The Cisco VIC 1387 Dual Port 40Gb QSFP CNA MLOM UCSC-MLOM-C40Q-03= is a network adapter plug-in module that enables a policy-based, stateless, agile server infrastructure for your data center. It supports 40Gb Ethernet / FCoE (Fibre Channel over Ethernet) and Virtual interfaces (VLANs) of 256 capacity. In addition, it features VLAN support, priority-based flow control, Quality of Service (QoS), Receive Side Scaling (RSS), Single Root I/O Virtualization (SR-IOV), NetFlow, Transparent (N_Port ID Virtualization - NPIV) mode support, iSCSI boot, built-in ASIC, Cisco SingleConnect technology, Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN), and Network Virtualization using Generic Routing Encapsulation (NVGRE).
The Cisco VIC 1387 is a dual-port Enhanced Quad Small Form-Factor Pluggable (QSFP) half-height PCI Express (PCIe) modular LAN-on-motherboard (mLOM) adapter and designed for Cisco UCS C-Series and C3160 Rack Servers such as UCS C220 M4 and SmartPlay Select C220 M4.
