It provides a flexible solution for accumulated chromatic dispersion without dropping and regenerating the wavelengths on the link, a process that would otherwise be necessary when accumulated chromatic dispersion exceeds the maximum allowed dispersion tolerance. Dispersion Compensator Unit 15216-DCU-350-RF provides 2 x LC network connection interfaces, 1525-1565 nm optical wavelength, and specifically designed to work accurately with Cisco ONS 15216.
