The Axis 5500-001 is a 60W splitter that splits the power and data from an Ethernet cable, enabling various network products and accessories that don’t support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) to receive 12 or 24 V DC with up to 4.5A. It can be powered from any Axis midspan or PoE switch and offers a simple solution of powering units such as illuminators and media converters.
