The AXIS OSDP Module 02577-001 links an external access control system to the 2N IP intercom reader. The OSDP protocol is used for communication between the 2N reader and controller because it offers more security than the Wiegand protocol and encrypts the data being sent. The OSDP module can be used with 2N Access Unit 2.0 smart readers but is primarily intended for 2N IP Verso and 2N IP Style intercoms.

Install the OSDP module under another module (such as an RFID card reader, Bluetooth reader, or keypad) when using 2N IP Verso or 2N LTE Verso intercoms. The OSDP module needs to be installed outside of the device for 2N IP Style intercoms and 2N Access Unit 2.0 readers.
