Axis F92A01 Height Strip Housing Silver 01631-001 for Axis Fixed and Modular Cameras
The Axis 01631-001 height strip housing comes in black or silver with metric or imperial front cover pieces. The sensor unit is mounted at a height of 170 cm in the metric model and 5.5 ft. in the imperial version as measured from the ground up. When mounted inside the housing, the sensor unit can be panned to set the desired viewing direction for optimal usage of the sensor units field of view.
The Axis 01631-001 Height strip housing is specifically designed for the inside mounting of compatible sensor units. Designed to be placed near exits of buildings, the camera is positioned to look straight at a person's face for more reliable identification, even when the person is wearing a hood or baseball cap. Ideally used in retail, hotel and banking environments where height strips are often used to enable eyewitnesses to gauge the height of a fleeing person.
