The APC NBES0306 is a 12 ft. universal sensor that detects vibration in racks that may indicate movement of IT assets. The typical location for the vibration sensor is on the main support in the top half of the enclosure. Avoid installing the sensor near a cooling unit, which could cause the sensor to give false alarms.
