This media converter is dual purpose which can be used as a standalone discrete device, or can be installed as a Media Converter Module into any Alloy 12-slot Media Converter Chassis. It has the capacity of up to 50 kilometres fibre range supported with fixed port MGCR2000 Series Converters and up to 120 kilometres fibre range supported by MGCR2000SFP Converter. In addition, it can facilitates an IEEE 802.3ab compliant 1000Base-T auto-sensing 10/100/1000Mbps RJ-45 port and a SFP slot that accepts any standards-based mini-GBIC Transceiver Module which makes this product an ideal and high flexible solution for any type of UTP/STP copper to Gigabit Ethernet multimode, singlemode or singlemode WDM media conversion task.
